The Easiest Way to Clean Your VAT After a Failed Print

Getting a failed print in resin 3D printing is very frustrating, but what's more frustrating is that you have a messy VAT with half printed bigger or smaller debries. We found a free VAT cleaning tool developed by Phrozen that can make your life easier.


Step 1) Remove the big chunks of failed prints in the VAT with your hands (wear protective gloves)

Step 2) Put the 3D printed VAT cleaning handle in the VAT and let the small debries to settle down to the bottom of the VAT

Step 3) Use the VAT cleaning function of your printer

The VAT cleaning function will create a new layer that traps all debries at the bottom of your VAT

Step 4) Use the handles to lift the VAT cleaning layer

Remove everything and you have a clean VAT

Step 5) Hang the VAT cleaning handles on your build plate

Excess iquid resin will drip back down to the VAT

Step 6) Remove the upper part of the VAT cleaning handle for future reuse
