Welcome to Aladdin Model (aladdinmodel.com). These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Aladdin Model ("we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of our website, platform, marketplace, cloud-based slicing software, and remote desktop services (collectively, the "Service").

By creating an account, purchasing items, or listing designs on Aladdin Model, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you are not authorized to use the Service.

1. OVERVIEW OF THE SERVICE & MECHANICAL LIMITATIONS

Aladdin Model operates a secure marketplace for high-detail 3D printing files designed for scale modelers. The platform utilizes a proprietary closed-loop cloud architecture designed to protect intellectual property while enabling home 3D printing.

No STL Transfer: Buyers do not receive, download, view, or touch raw, uncompiled 3D geometry files (including STL, OBJ, 3MF, or other source mesh formats). Source files remain permanently secure in cloud storage.
Remote Desktop Slicing: To prepare a model for printing, Buyers interact with the asset exclusively through our online, cloud-based remote desktop environment using our hosted slicing software.
Sliced-File Delivery Only: The only digital asset transferred from the Service to the Buyer’s local device is the compiled, machine-ready sliced print file (e.g., G-code, CTB, or equivalent printer-specific layers) generated during the remote session.

2. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & SECURITY PROTECTIONS

Designer Ownership: 3D Designers ("Sellers") retain full copyright and ownership over their original digital files. Listing a model does not transfer intellectual property rights to the platform or to the Buyer.
Absolute Prohibition of Source File Access: It is strictly forbidden for any user to attempt to access, extract, retrieve, copy, or download the raw 3D geometry files (including STL, OBJ, 3MF, or other source formats). The platform's architecture is built exclusively to block direct file delivery. Any circumvention of this restriction is an illegal infringement of intellectual property.
Targeted Session Recording and Monitoring: To ensure platform security and protect intellectual property, Aladdin Model reserves the right to selectively monitor, log, and record specific remote desktop sessions. Targeted sessions may be recorded at our sole discretion based on automated security triggers, risk assessments, or piracy-prevention audits. These recordings serve as forensic evidence to detect and document unauthorized attempts to harvest or reverse-engineer 3D mesh files from the cloud interface.
US DMCA & Copyright Infringement Notifications: We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe any material hosted on our platform infringes your copyright, you may submit a Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) Takedown Notice to our designated agent at contact@aladdinmodel.com containing the required statutory elements under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c).

3. FOR BUYERS: LICENSING, DOWNLOADS, AND FEES

Limited Slicing License: When a Buyer purchases a design, they are buying a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and configure that design strictly within the Aladdin Model remote desktop tool.
Authorized Downloads: Buyers are authorized to transfer and download only the sliced print files resulting from their remote session. These files are meant exclusively for execution by physical 3D printers at home.
Usage Restrictions: Sliced files downloaded from our platform are for personal use only. You may not distribute, share, or sell the generated sliced files, or use them for commercial manufacturing unless granted an explicit commercial tier license by the Seller.

4. FOR SELLERS: MARKETPLACE, COMMISSIONS, & EU DSA COMPLIANCE

Hosting Authorization: By uploading designs to Aladdin Model, Sellers grant the platform the right to host, render, and execute the files within our secure cloud slicing environment for authenticated Buyers.
Commission and Take Rate: Aladdin Model charges a 10% commission on the gross sale price of every digital transaction.
Payout Distribution: Sellers will receive 90% of the net sale amount, subject to the deduction of applicable payment processing provider fees, taxes, or currency conversions as detailed in the Seller Dashboard.
EU Digital Services Act (DSA) Compliance: Sellers acting in a professional or commercial capacity ("Traders" under EU law) must provide verified identification, contact, and business registration details before listing items for sale to EU consumers. Aladdin Model reserves the right to suspend any seller who fails to provide accurate disclosure documentation.

5. INTERNATIONAL COMPLIANCE & CONSUMER RIGHTS

For European Union & UK Users:

EU Right of Withdrawal Waiver: Under EU consumer protection law, consumers normally have a right to cancel an online contract within 14 days. However, because our Service provides immediate, execution-based access to digital content via the remote desktop environment, you explicitly acknowledge and agree that you lose your 14-day right of withdrawal once the digital execution begins immediately following your purchase.
VAT / Taxes: Prices displayed on the marketplace may be subject to Value Added Tax (VAT) based on your EU country of residence. Aladdin Model or its payment processors will calculate and collect applicable VAT at checkout.

For United States Users:

Age Restrictions (COPPA): The Service is directed exclusively to individuals at least 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect or maintain data from children under 13 in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act.
State Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA, etc.): Depending on your US state of residence, you may have specific rights regarding your personal data, including the right to request deletion or access to data collected during registration and remote desktop sessions. Please see our Privacy Policy for full disclosures.

6. USER CONDUCT & PROHIBITED USES

You agree that you will not, under any circumstances, engage in the prohibited activities listed below. Engaging in any of these actions will result in the immediate, permanent termination of your account, forfeiture of all purchased access, a lifetime ban from the Service, and potential referral to legal authorities:

Source File Extraction: Utilizing screen-scraping software, 3D injection tools, memory-dumping applications, network interceptors, or capture hardware to attempt to reconstruct, intercept, or extract raw 3D mesh files (STL/OBJ/3MF) from the remote desktop streaming feed.
Security Circumvention: Bypassing, disabling, or tampering with encryption, digital rights management (DRM), user session restrictions, or security barriers designed to isolate the underlying 3D files within the cloud environment.
Infrastructure Tampering: Injecting malicious code, scripts, or malware into the remote desktop infrastructure, or overloading our streaming nodes.

7. INDEMNIFICATION

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Aladdin Model, its corporate parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, debts, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees) arising from:

Your use of and access to the Service, including any sliced data transmitted or received by you;
Your violation of any term of these Terms of Service, including your breach of any obligations or safety protocols outlined in Sections 2 and 6;
Your violation of any third-party right, including without limitation any intellectual property, copyright, trademark, privacy, or property right;
Any claim that content uploaded or handled by your account caused damage to a third party or infringed upon their intellectual property.

8. REMOTE DESKTOP AVAILABILITY & WARRANTY DISCLAIMER

Technical Requirements: Interacting with the cloud slicer requires a stable internet connection. Aladdin Model is not responsible for lag, service disconnections, or loss of progress caused by the user’s local hardware or network connection.
Session Allocations: To ensure server stability and resource availability, Aladdin Model reserves the right to enforce reasonable time or session limits on active remote desktop slicing sessions per purchase.
Warranty Disclaimer: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable US, EU, and Hong Kong law, the remote desktop slicing environment is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY & REFUNDS

Limitation of Liability: Aladdin Model shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, or data resulting from your use of the cloud platform.
Refund Policy: Because full functional access to prepare the asset is granted immediately upon a successful transaction, all sales are final. Exceptional refunds may be evaluated on a case-by-case basis if a file is technically corrupted or fundamentally un-sliceable within our system. This policy does not affect your statutory rights under applicable local consumer protection laws.

10. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by, construed, and enforced in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR), without regard to its conflict of law principles.

International Application: For clients accessing the Service from the United States, Europe, or other international jurisdictions, you agree that any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Hong Kong. You hereby consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of such courts.

11. AMENDMENTS & TERMINATION

Aladdin Model reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform following updates indicates acceptance of the revised Terms. We reserve the right to immediately terminate accounts that attempt to violate our secure streaming protocols.
